to be quite honest, i prefer tlat. just barely, but i do prefer tlat. i like the focus on characters and plots other than lily. i don't like tlat!lily's characterization, though. she annoys me. tlat!james is okay, but i prefer comm!james, because he's the sweetest james i've ever read while still managing to remain in character and realistic and alksjf.
 
i really don't care for marlene price either. she fits my blond!marlene headcanon, but my marlene is way closer to marley in commentarius. other than the broader plot line, the one thing tlat has to push it ahead of commentarius is its outstanding original characters. i am donna shacklebolt, donna shacklebolt is me. carlotta meloni is an angel and i love to hate her.

hi. I died. but I'm back. for three minutes. lovely.
 
I won DGBG, which was completely unexpected. um, yay? I don't know how to react to these sort of things. that's really depressing, merlin. it's bad when you're painfully awkward even on the internet.
 
so basically the whole point of this set is to tell you that I won't be publishing a set any time soon, but I now realize that it kind of defeats the purpose since by publishing this set I am publishing a set but I meant fashion set. uh. yeah.
 
I'm leaving for the airport in 12 hours and 45 minutes and I haven't finished my homework and I haven't started packing. this is kind of a problem.

recap: lillian saunders drops a plate. apollo is being irritating and insensitive and unnecessarily charming. will storms out, teresa tries to follow (she can't, y'know, because of her ankle. mrs. saunders distracts herself from the idiot (apollo) by hovering around teresa and making her sweet tea), alex succeeds in following will because she is very much not injured, and they have a brilliant bonding experience. will and alex come back inside and everyone is left sitting awkwardly in separate rooms because they now have no transportation and it's just an awkward situation.
 
outline: apollo is channel surfing when he sees the Pleiades on the news (they crashed a car / stole a car / etc., remember?) and will's all "i don't even care if you're coming, i'm going." and he takes apollo's car and apollo is TOTALLY not okay with that so he heals teresa's ankle with a snap of his fingers (" . . . you couldn't have done that earlier??") and apollo chases after will in mrs. saunders' car with teresa and alex in the backseat and they catch the stars in the grand old opry (or maybe somewhere else, we haven't decided yet) and there are heroics and alex is clever so she climbs a catwalk or something and accidentally drops the curtains on the Pleiades and apollo will arrest them so zeus can put them back in the sky where they belong and ~ending goes here~
 
next: the ending will be wonderful and not cliché. i can't say when it'll be up, however, i'm not sure.

I DO NOT HAVE THREE MINUTES HELP ME
 
we're at Will's house and Lillian Saunders just dropped a plate and Will is angry at Apollo because he's a jerk and Teresa is very uncomfortable because this is awkward and sometime during this chapter (probably after an argument with Apollo/such) either Alex or Will will (heh.) storm out of the house and sit on the edge of the front porch. Will or Alex (whichever did not do the storming) will be sent out to the other one by Teresa who is being hovered over and given iced tea by Mrs. Saunders because ouch ankle.
 
there will be a truly lovely conversation between Alex and Will about how the gods feel so entitled and they're sick of everything or something and there shall be bonding.
 
and then BOOM BANG Apollo fixes up Teresa's ankle with a snap of his fingers (" . . . You couldn't have done that earlier??") and tells them they'd better get going if they're going to catch the Pleiades. someone points out that they are now completely bereft of transportation (courtesy of your friendly neighborhood Pleiades) and Apollo sends them on their merry way with another snap of his fingers.
 
we are disgruntled and uncomfortable because that was a very awkward situation. we are glad to be away from it.
 
and that's all I have because I am running on six hours of sleep and I am going to pass out in three seconds.

[I am miffed because I needed a picture of apollo in this but - okay, do you know how hard it is to find a picture of alexander ludwig with a shirt on? do you /know/? hmph.]
 
[also miffed because this description will never be as nice as my contest entry before last was. HOW ON EARTH DID I DO THAT?]
 
[also miffed because I used these pictures two entries ago. zero points for originality.]
 
so we're hot on the tail of the pleiades and car chases are fun wheeee and we're in kentucky-ish, I believe. there's a car accident but the truck is still on the road and etc. teresa injures her ankle and she's trying to put it back in its proper position because she's /read/ about this! ("Um . . . Will? Ankles aren't supposed to bend this way, are they?") and a piece of litter - maybe a newspaper (cliched but useful.) or maybe a plastic grocery bag - is blown onto the windshield and gets all tangled in the wipers and teresa would untangle it but did you miss the part where her ankle is bending the wrong way? and alex can't reach it so will's like FORGET THIS and tells them to take the wheel and lowers his window so he can lean out of the car and untangle it and teresa tries to get the wheel but alex is selfish and gets there first but alex cannot drive because alex is fourteen years old and we sort of crash into the pleiades' car and will just barely makes it back into the car in time to get smashed against the sterring wheel but alex who is still partially in the back seat sort of squishes his fall and teresa's ankle gets jostled ("HOLY SEAWEED.") and alex is squished between a will and a steering wheel and the pleiades' car won't start again and apollo (who is will's dad, in case you've forgotten) appears dressed as a policeman or something and he helps them get out of the truck and he's about to detain the stars when the pleiades steal will's beat-up truck and drive away.
 
which is just brilliant.
 
and then apollo takes them to will's house because he's an insensitive git.
 
will's house has a squeaky, flimsy screen door.
 
that's this chapter. and we've already planned out the next chapter which will be my favorite chapter and I hopefully will not be late. for once.
